Description:
We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to oversee both inside and outside sales responsibilities onsite in Farmington Hills MI. This Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining existing customers while looking forward at market conditions and exploring new business opportunities within their non-ferrous division. While there will be direct report (2-4) in this role, it is expected that this Manager will also be helping customers directly when needed. This individual will be responsible for staff management of their team (training, evaluations, directing/distribution of work, participating in hiring/termination when needed, etc.). Additionally, this Manager will be charged to manage the annual budget for their section including monthly financial reports and other various tasks as needed. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity that requires working onsite in Farmington Hills MI with a salary expectation of 120-130k along with the perk of having a company car provided.

8+ years of sales experience (B2B) selling into manufacturing environments
Experience managing a team
Experience in metals sales or related commodities environment (pricing of raw materials)
Manufacturing, trading, or logistics industry experience
Finance/budget experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience selling into manufacturing clients
Experience with metal sales/raw material sales
Experience working with or for a Japanese based organization
