Context

This position reports to the Project Controls Manager of the Design Joint Venture of the HFR Consortium and with continuous coordination with the Legal representatives of each member of the Design JV.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Assure that there is full compliance with the Contract Management standards of the Design JV and contractual terms and conditions in the execution of the contract administration activities;
  • Manage contractual relationships and ways of working with third parties (including sub-contractors to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of their respective services);
  • Review draft contracts and ensure they are fit for purpose and tailored to HFR, co-ordinating inputs from advisors where required (e.g. legal, technical, financial)
  • Manage Change procedures in coordination with Project Team with respect to assessment of impact of such proposed changes on costs, schedule, risks
  • Review and approve (if appropriate) Contractors and / or Consultants performance evaluations, and where appropriate / necessary oversee the establishment of Contractors and / or Consultants proposed performance improvement plans
  • Support the review of existing Contract Management Procedures and Processes.


Profile/Skills

Education: Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in the Commercial and Contract Management disciplines

Years of experience: A minimum of 10 years experience in combined relevant contract management, administration

Technical competencies:
  • Demonstrated experience in contract administration and contract management of large capital programs/infrastructure projects;
  • Experience in the development and deployment of commercial processes and procedures and assuring their compliance;
  • Experienced in the development of innovative, systematic, and robust solutions and procedures to resolve complex contract issues;
  • Project costing and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and standardization;
  • Contract and financial auditing experience;
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
  • Holding or is working towards professional qualification an asset (e.g., IACCM, CIQS, CCCM, CPCM, PMP, et).
