Position Description
The Project Controls Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, cost management, and progress tracking of construction projects. They will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the required quality standards.

Position Description
The Project Controls Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, cost management, and progress tracking of construction projects. They will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the required quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using software like Primavera P6 or MS project.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes or delays.
- Coordinate with various teams to align schedules and workflows.
- Establish project budgets and manage cost control processes.
- Track project expenditures and compare them to budgets to identify variances.
- Provide cost forecasts and recommend corrective actions to stay within budget.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee management processes, including tracking scope changes and updating costs and schedules accordingly.
Position Requirements
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in self-perform heavy civil construction.
- Experience with Procore, Project Schedule, etc.
- Experience with subcontract scope development, review, and administration.
- Experience with material procurement.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business, or related field of study.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of project management experience in heavy construction, design-build projects, and managing multi-million-dollar projects.
- Demonstrates exceptional oral and written communication competencies.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to walk job sites when necessary.
- May be required to travel to job sites and other locations.
