The clinic provides after-hours care for canine and feline patients, offering services that bridge the gap between general practice and emergency care. There are no emergency clinic fees, and the clinic operates with paperless systems, including cloud-based EMR, digital x-rays, and IDEXX in-house lab equipment to ensure efficient and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide relationship-based care, cultivating strong bonds with both pets and clients.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to maintain high standards of care and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships within the local Austin community.
• Contribute to the professional growth of support staff through the LevelUp clinical training program.
• Manage a diverse caseload of urgent care cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia.
• Perform surgeries and clinical procedures during clinic hours, focusing on urgent care without wellness treatments.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• Active license in good standing to practice in Texas (or the ability to obtain a license in Texas).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
