A well-established urgent care veterinary practice in Sarasota, Florida is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their growing team. This practice provides critical after-hours care for canine and feline patients, bridging the gap between routine general practice and emergency services, while ensuring that clients receive top-quality care at affordable rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of veterinary professionals, including leadership, to maintain efficient, high-quality patient care.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and foster relationships within the Sarasota community, enhancing the practice's reputation as a trusted provider of urgent care.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and encourage support staff through the practice's LevelUp training program to foster growth and professional development.
  • Caseload Management: Manage a diverse caseload, including surgeries and appointments, during operating hours, providing timely care for patients.

Qualifications:
  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
  • Active veterinary license in good standing in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain one).
