Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and high-quality urgent care, serving both patients and their owners with a relationship-based approach.
- Collaborate closely with the clinical team and leadership to ensure optimal care and smooth daily operations.
- Foster and grow relationships within the Chesapeake community, becoming a trusted resource for urgent care needs.
- Support the development of clinic support staff through the internal LevelUp training program.
- Manage a dynamic caseload, including various urgent care treatments, surgeries, and appointments during clinic hours.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- Active veterinary license in good standing in the state of employment (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is a plus, but not required.
