Civil Project Manager

Position Overview
The Civil Project Manager will oversee and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public works and construction, with a strong emphasis on CALTRANS regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution of civil engineering projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project alignment and compliance.
• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to achieve project goals.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges through proactive problem-solving and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil project management, particularly in public works and construction.
• Strong knowledge of CALTRANS regulations and standards related to civil engineering projects.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
