JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a candidate with the expertise and skills to deliver project management, critical analysis and robust reporting to support corporate sustainability programs.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Support Darden's sustainability and business objectives under the direction of Director of Sustainability, with daily tasks related to project management, data management, analysis, reporting, supplier engagement, and cross-functional meeting facilitation;
-Manage and perform analysis of disparate and complex data sets including energy and water consumption, Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions, waste recycling and diversion, food donation programs, renewable energy procurement, supply chain partner certifications and practices; animal welfare key welfare indicators, logistics and transportation data, and others.
-Lead validation and assurance of quantitative metrics, including oversight of third-party audit/assurance vendors;
-Conduct research and benchmarking on sustainability related topics and produce concise briefs for internal decision makers;
-Coordinate a diverse portfolio of third-party consultants, vendors, partners and stakeholders;
-Support development of disclosures related to Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks such as TCFD, SSASB, GRI, CDP, and others;
-Lead projects related to sustainability focus areas including climate risk, animal welfare, energy and water management, supply chain sustainability, transportation and logistics, renewable energy, waste management and others.
-Facilitate cross-functional teams to support initiatives, projects and reporting with functions including Supply Chain, Finance, Facilities, Design & Construction, Operations, Compliance, Communications, Legal, Corporate Reporting, Tax and others;
-Evaluate risks, opportunities and business impacts on a wide array of concepts, programs and issues;
-Support Communications, Supply Chain and Investor Relations with stakeholder engagement on relevant topics related to sustainability;
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and independently.
-Ability to interpret complex information and data and effectively communicate simple and direct conclusions, assumptions and limitations;
-Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to convey both context and business impact of issues;
-Strong organization skills, with ability to coordinate project timelines, facilitate cross functional groups and deliver value-add reporting.
-Experience with management systems, audit, accounting and data quality concepts and tool sets.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
-Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Environmental Science or other related science field, -Engineering, Sustainability, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting; Master's Degree preferred
OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
-5 years of professional work experience related to project management, operations, continuous improvement, supply chain management, quality management, finance, accounting and or sustainability, working directly with or inside a corporate environment a plus
-Effective intrapersonal skills to develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
-Ability to travel (less than 25%)
-Based in central Florida
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-Strong skills in data management tools including Excel pivot, Power BI, including aggregation of disparate data sets, automation of data quality measures, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or related tools.
-Experience with statistical and data visualization methods such as pareto analysis, histograms, waterfall charts, box and whisper and gannt charts
-Experience in project management, process management or continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Total Quality management or other disciplines
-Specialized training or certifications related to management systems, accounting, audit, energy management, continuous improvement, quality management
