1103 - Electrical Engineer

Monte Sano Research Corporation (MSRC) is a Huntsville-based Small Business specializing in providing full-spectrum defense system engineering, research, design, development, integration, test, evaluation, and planning services to the U.S. Government.

MSRC is seeking a full-time Engineer to work in the direct customer lab space, developing software and hardware to test integration between emerging platforms, launchers, and weapon systems. Duties to include:

• Work with a team of developers to design, code, and peer-review integration test software and fire control systems.
• Design, modify, and troubleshoot test environment hardware.
• Develop and document test procedures to be used in laboratory environments and test ranges.
• Work in the direct customer space with government personnel and vendors.
• Work with technicians to identify and correct functional deviations in prototype hardware.
• Occasionally travel to support multi-week test flight events.

Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.

Required Skills:

• 3-8 years of relevant experience.
• C/C++ software development.
• Hardware and circuit design, including use of Visio or other electronic drawing tools.
• Familiarity with standard test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• Methodical approach to software debugging and hardware troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Git configuration control tools.
• Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain clearance required.

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance.
