As a Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) Nurse with our organization, you will be a vital member of the nursing administration team, responsible for the Quality Assurance Program. Performs professional work at an advanced level. Position responsible for the Quality Assurance Performance Plan (QAPI), utilizing systemic data and resources to establish, implement and continually provide and monitor performance measurements, assessments, and improvements of activities related to the well being of resident care and customer satisfaction. QAPI program was designed to adhere to Federal and State regulatory compliance, delivering quality of care to our residents. This is a multi-faceted position requiring excellent organizational and communication skills in which to interact with all departments and staff. This position will assume the responsibility of the Nursing Department in the absence of the Director of Nursing and/or the Assistant Director of Nursing. Performs related duties as required. Demonstrated computer skills are required. Shift assignment is subject to change per operational need. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Applicants must successfully pass a background check. Hopemont Hospital a tobacco/smoke free campus.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

None.

Licensure/Certifications:

Current West Virginia license to practice as a registered nurse.

Experience:

Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in nursing.

Internal Applicants Only:

One (1) of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as a Registered Nurse may substitute for the required experience.
