Production Manager, American Custom Meats (Tracy, CA)
$125,000-$150,000 (Exempt/Salaried Position)
What We are Looking For A highly organized, problem-solving, and communicative leader to direct daily production operations, ensuring schedules, safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
Essential Duties
o Directs and manages production schedules, full-time and temporary labor work schedules, meal and rest breaks, contingencies; able to be flexible and adjust labor and work-flow to meet customer and schedule expectations.
o Manages all aspects of production schedule, production lines, work flow, data collection and reporting, production yields, production standards and safety.
o Responsible for daily and weekly production reporting including but not limited to yields, efficiency, downtime and labor variances.
o Directs floor efforts and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure product conformance to specifications including formulas, equipment performance, and processing.
o Works closely with Continuous Improvement Manager in CI efforts including the management, leading and training of floor personnel.
o Ensures employees follow safety guidelines and works cross-functionally to resolve safety hazards.
o Maintains a working knowledge of and adheres to company policies and procedures.
o Collaborates and works interdepartmentally to drive company objectives and success.

o Efficiency Focus: Experience in meeting production deadlines and solving production and labor issues.
o Team Collaboration: Ability to work and build consensus across departments.
o Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and addressing production problems.
o Industry Experience: 5+ years supervisory experience in food processing, particularly meat processing, with knowledge of safety regulations.
o Technical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing production data and using Excel.
o Bilingual: Spanish/English
