We're looking for an ambitious, energetic, career focused and consultative sales leader to assist us in expanding our market penetration of model portfolios with our affiliated advisors. The ideal candidate will be investment knowledgeable, experienced in sales, and have a growth mind-set.
The Head of Investment Specialists will drive advisor adoption of the firm's model portfolio offerings. This includes sales leadership and support, speaking engagements, home office and advisor office visits, while leveraging Salesforce CRM through the entire sales cycle. You will also contribute to new product launches, participate in Kestra conferences, and foster ongoing partnerships with other divisions and departments, including wealth management, data analytics, business intelligence, marketing and operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a consultative sales model for our investment offerings, including clear accountability and targets for asset growth, increasing our breadth and depth, and advisor satisfaction
- Deliver advice to advisors and clients, as needed, on our investment catalogue, portfolio construction and market insights
- Execute sales campaigns based on advisor interest, adoption, conference participation, and seasonal topics
- Working in partnership with Marketing, develop a calendar of regular and ad-hoc communications with advisors and clients and develop collateral to support individual investment offerings
- Leverage Salesforce for tracking and reporting all sales activity, including building reports and dashboard functionality as needed
- Serve as a strong sales leader within KIM, helping to build a cohesive team, develop strategy and execute on it
- Partner with other stakeholders within the Kestra ecosystem to advance the mission of KIM, earning their trust and ensuring KIM is top of mind for the needs of advisors
- Present to groups of financial professionals to educate and inspire confidence in the solutions offered
- Have a strong sales and service background, with knowledge of how to train and motivate a sales team
- Serve as the "voice of the field" articulating back to the investment team the services and solutions that are wanted by advisors
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for advisor office visits and Kestra conferences
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- College degree or equivalent industry related experience
- Sales professional with 7+ years' experience
- Experience supporting advisors in a sales or business consulting capacity preferred
- Extensive experience with Salesforce in a prior sales role
- Intermediate experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Envestnet and Morningstar a plus, but not required
CERTIFICATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:
- FINRA 65 or 66 preferred, or obtained within 6 months of hire
- CIMA, CFP, or CFA a plus, but not required
