Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Specialty: Radiation Therapy
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour days, Monday - Friday, day shift, no call
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: WV state license
Certifications: BLS, ARRT registered Radiation Therapist
Must-Have: IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT experience, Varian equipment experience
Job Description:
- Treat approximately 25 patients per linear accelerator.
- Utilize department-specific equipment such as Varian Trilogy, Varian Truebeam, Siemens Somation go. flo.
- Work under the guidance of a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech.
- Collaborate with on-site Radiation Oncologists.
- No requirement for starting IVs.
- Choose between 5x8 hours or possibly 4x10 hours shifts.
- No weekend or holiday requirements.
- No call or standby requirements.
- Wear gray scrubs.
- Participate in department-specific orientation.
- Follow a cancellation policy allowing for 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks.
- Chart using the EPIC system.
