The Director of Rehabilitation Services IFMC directs the operation of assigned outpatient clinical programs and inpatient rehabilitation therapy. Leads and coordinates key strategic development and functional services to support program objectives and organizational goals. Maintains effective and responsive relationships with patients, attending medical staff, and other departments. Manages department finances including budgeting, controls of salary/non-salary, and capital investment expenses.

Director, Rehab Services IFMC Job Responsibilities
Oversees assigned department or functional area to ensure it is performing effectively, which may include but not limited to, preparing and implementing business strategy to achieve the organization's goals, ensuring legal compliance, communicating and collaborating with stakeholders, managing employment decisions and contributions of supporting team members, and managing departmental budget and fiscal success.
- Ensures that programs meet business and market plan objectives. Organizes, monitors, and coordinates all QA and QI activities.
- Coordinates program evaluation efforts through the systematic measurement and analysis of clinical outcomes, financial performances, quality indicators, stakeholder satisfaction, and market forces/trends.
- Spearheads clinical program development in conjunction with the Medical Director and other key clinical staff members.
- Maintains regular communication with both senior management at the operating unit/service line and the Medical Director to apprise them of the status of the program, discuss program functioning, and review anticipated programmatic needs.
- Represents the program to interested parties outside the operating unit such as clinical service providers, physicians, third-party payers and members of the local business community, representatives, team members, and other interested parties.
- Coordinates/monitors the development of long-range plans and annual budgets for assigned outpatient clinical programs and inpatient rehabilitation programs.
- Works closely with the business office to ensure appropriate billing amounts and that all program policies are carried out to ensure timely collections.
Director, Rehab Services IFMC Minimum Requirements:
- Certification - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR
- Licensure - PT, OT or Speech Therapist
- Five years of related professional experience
- Two years of management experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Director, Rehab Services IFMC Preferred Qualifications:
- Inpatient rehab experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrates adaptability and resourcefulness, effectively managing multiple priorities with limited resources.
