Overview
The Sr. Director, Enterprise Systems will be responsible for leading a high performing team to deliver high-quality enterprise business systems aligned to business needs and objectives for multiple stakeholder groups. The Sr. Director, Enterprise Systems will take a business-driven approach to selecting and implementing technology solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to ensure the appropriate business requirements analysis and documentation processes are completed prior to technology selection, design, development, and implementation. The Sr. Director, Enterprise Systems will bring a creative, innovative, and automation-first mindset to solve business problems leveraging the appropriate technology solutions in a lean and cost-effective manner, without sacrificing quality or efficiency.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high performing team of engineers and platform administrators supporting a portfolio of commercial enterprise business systems for varying stakeholder groups (e.g., Finance, Legal, Marketing, HR, etc.).
Evaluate and implement enterprise business solutions to meet the growing needs of the business while ensuring fit within a larger technology ecosystem and aligned to the overall technology strategy.
Collaborate with Technology leaders to ensure seamless alignment and integration of various technology solutions with enterprise business systems, as required.
Create and foster a team culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous process improvement.
Understand and translate business strategy into design and integration of business systems and work with team to define technical requirements and implement high-quality solutions aligned to business objectives.
Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to clarify business requirements, remove roadblocks, and align business vision into enterprise solutions strategy.
Lead large, complex projects to completion to achieve key business objectives.
Define and implement streamlined system implementation processes and methodologies to deliver enterprise business systems quickly, accurately, securely, and at scale.
Ensure alignment of enterprise business systems to security requirements and policies, including staying up to date on supported version and/or required infrastructure and security patches.
Effectively manage partners/vendors toward established goals to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Manage CapEx and OpEx budgets for enterprise business systems initiatives and work closely with business stakeholders to ensure alignment of technology spend to business value delivered.
Work within budget, maintain resource allocation plans, and evaluate new partners/vendors, their statements of work, and their services.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or relevant equivalent experience, required
12+ years of hands-on experience leading the design, development, release, and support of enterprise technology solutions
8+ years of managerial experience in positions of increasing responsibilities in an enterprise technology environment
Demonstrated working knowledge of multiple enterprise business solutions (i.e., ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.)
Proven experience working closely with business owners and subject matter experts to document, design, develop, and deliver high-quality enterprise business solutions is required
Demonstrated experience in leading the introduction and adoption of enterprise business solutions, including migration from legacy solutions to new platforms
Ability to practice innovative and creative thinking, and to motivate others to do the same
Strong customer service and relationship management skills with a comprehensive understanding of quality service delivery with excellent attention to detail and sensitivity to customer needs
Knowledge of general Finance and Accounting practices
Experience working in a retail business, preferred
Experience working in franchised businesses, preferred
Working knowledge of commercial enterprise business systems like Great Plains, NetSuite, SAP, Concur, Salesforce (Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds), ADP, Workday, etc.
Proficient in Agile and Scrum practices, rapid prototyping, innovation-focused development cycles, and continuous delivery and integration practices
Ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities without sacrificing the quality of work
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objectives
Exceptional presentation and communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including executives
Able to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships with diverse individuals, internally and externally
Creative, progressive, thought leadership with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
