The Collision Refurbishment Performance Analyst will lead projects for Tesla's used car refurbishment within collision operations. This role involves ensuring exceptional quality, developing processes across business units, and expanding field sites to meet the demands of Tesla's rapidly growing refurbishment business. We are seeking high-energy, innovative leaders with a focus on problem-solving and a commitment to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a background in used car reconditioning or collision with the ability to drive substantial growth while adhering to Tesla's first principles thinking. This position can be based in several major metros across the US.

Responsibilities
  • Set monthly goals for used car throughput, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Work with collision field teams, used car sales, supply-chain, logistics, infrastructure teams to strategize on program improvements
  • Lead stakeholders and standard for communication, problem-solving, and a positive work environment in areas that touch used-car refurbishment
  • Drive continuous improvement in performance, safety, quality, and customer service by partnering with field operations teams
  • Establish and execute the strategy for location utilization at hybrid collision repair and refurb locations while enacting strategy to centralize work into refurb hubs
  • Manage financials, ensuring goals are met in quality, productivity, and costs, while justifying investments to change refurbishment location footprint
  • Act in the best interest of Tesla, promoting the mission, product, and team values


Requirements
  • Proven leadership experience in a collision or reconditioning-focused industry
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% across various locations
  • Experience leading remote projects
  • Strong process and operations experience, especially in fast-paced, technology-driven environments
  • Expertise in developing and operating complex processes using lean or other efficiency techniques
  • Technical acumen with the ability to understand Tesla products and reconditioning systems
  • Valid driver's license required
