Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Job Specialty: Radiation Therapist

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8-hour shifts, 4 days a week or 5 days a week

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: 2+ years experience with Varian treatment systems, Varian Truebeam, Varian Trilogy, and IBA Proton, and Aria EMR

License: Active state license required

Certifications: RT(T), BLS (American Heart Association)

Must-Have:
- Active state license
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with specified treatment systems and EMR

Job Description:

- Work in a treatment center with seven treatment rooms.
- Maintain a 2 Radiation Therapists to 1 patient ratio.
- Handle variable weekend requirements, with occasional needs on Saturday if proton machine maintenance requires it.
- No on-call duties.
- Required to wear gray scrubs.
- Participate in orientation that includes general orientation, EPIC day training, and department-specific training with a chief or lead therapist.
- Undergo holiday week treatments when necessary.
- No weekend duties unless otherwise specified by schedule needs.
- Epic access not required.
