Job Summary
The Director of Nursing manages and directs the daily operations of the patient care nursing unit to ensure the accomplishment of established departmental goals. Plans, delegates, and coordinates patient care to ensure that high quality patient care is rendered. Performs the duties of a R.N. as needed. Ensures the LMC Code of Conduct is reflected in all aspects of the department's operation. Acts as a liaison between nursing administration and the various nursing and ancillary departments to ensure high quality patient care.

Job Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; baccalaureate degree or current enrollment in a BSN program desired; MSN a plus.
- Five years of clinical experience (preferably in the area of application); experience in patient care management preferred.
- Current Licensed as a R.N. by the Texas State Board of Registered Nurse Examiners. Specialties, executive, and or clinical certification preferred.
