Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Specialty: Outpatient Clinic
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:40 - 17:40)
Guaranteed Hours:
Experience: 1+ years of outpatient experience
License: Valid California LVN license with IV certification
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), IV Certified
Must-Have: Proficiency in blood/lab draws, recent experience with venipuncture, some experience with pediatrics
Job Description:
- Draw 1-5 vials of blood from every patient in a high-volume clinic.
- Requires recent experience and proficiency with venipuncture.
- Must be proficient in blood/lab draws.
- Prefer some experience in Urgent Care or Ambulatory settings.
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required.
- Requires COVID-19 Vaccine and Current Booster.
- Must be flexible with floating locations as needed.
- Orientation includes 12 hours of non-billable modules tailor-fitted for the specialty.
- Requires two supervisor references from the past year, relevant certifications, and proof of COVID vaccination at time of submission.
