About the team
The Seller Incubation Team is responsible for the tools and system to help seller grow their business in TikTok Shop. Our products mainly serve to activate TTS sellers as quickly as possible, by providing them with efficient and easy-to-start tools with content creations, live-streaming, etc.
This role:
- Be a product manager for TikTok Shop Live Stream education and tool set products by deeply understanding the needs of our TikTok e-commerce sellers and developing a compelling product strategy and roadmap.
- You'll need to find new opportunities that can drive sellers going live, not limited to improving on what we have, but to introduce what we don't have.
- Partner with designers, engineers, and data scientists to build technology, systems, and products that redefine how our community expresses themselves through the use of short video education and tool products.
- Identify trends in data, establish product vision, plan short- and long-term roadmaps.
- Execute throughout the product development process by gathering and defining requirements, writing specs, creating wireframes and workflows, running user studies, conducting AB tests, and coordinating marketing and other launch plans.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience.
- 3-5+ years of e-commerce business product management, with experience in operating platform products preferred.
- Direct experience working on platform architecture capabilities.
- Experience with software development, product design, or interaction design.
- Ability to think creatively and approach key problems with system-level thinking.
- Ability to collaborate and build trust with engineers, designers, data science and other cross-functional teammates.
- Ability to independently initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance and speed of execution.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with AB testing. Experience in ecommerce products, ad platforms and content creation products would be a plus.
- Ability to communicate concisely and influence outcomes.
- Skilled in the creation of delightful, polished and performant products for end-users in the US market and on any device.
- Experience performing product-oriented quantitative analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry knowledge of eCommerce.
- Direct experience working on creative tools with a specialization in AR tools or video editing tools for creators
- Analytical mindset with excellent quantitative reasoning, creativity and strategic skills.
