About the Team
The role reports to the ILS Manager and forms part of our ILS Team for Logistic Vehicles. You will work closely with other Logistic Support Analysts and Engineers on Land 121 Projects.
About the Role
The Logistics Support Analyst is engaged in reviewing logistic support requirements, management of logistics data and development of logistics products. The Logistic Support Analyst can expect to be appointed as part of a small team working on a major project or across a series of smaller projects with responsibilities to contribute to the development of logistics products to aid the customer to maintain and operate military equipment and to reduce the cost of ownership over life of type.
The Logistic Support Analyst, dependent on the maturity of the project, may be involved in tasks including:

The Logistic Support Analyst can expect to be appointed as part of a small team working on a major project or across a series of smaller projects with responsibilities to contribute to the development of logistics products to aid the customer to maintain and operate military equipment and to reduce the cost of ownership over life of type.
The Logistic Support Analyst, dependent on the maturity of the project, may be involved in tasks including:
- Participating within engineering teams to ensure the incorporation of ILS as products develop;
- Contributing to assessments of availability, reliability, maintainability and testability;
- Populating and maintaining a Logistic Support Analysis database;
- Conducting maintenance task analysis and determining level of repair;
- Aligning repair and replacement part requirements;
- Development of provisioning and repair part identification lists
- Supporting development of lifecycle costing data;
- Managing, reviewing and distributing codification data (CDATA);
- Assisting the development of technical data lists; and
- Preparing integrated logistics plans.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Knowledge and/or experience with Integrated Logistics Support in Defence;
- High level of self-motivation and a methodical, deliberate approach to problem definition and resolution;
- Willingness to work in multi-disciplinary teams;
- Strong analysis capabilities and understanding of complex systems;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficient in MS Office (Sharepoint, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint);
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally when required; and
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
