Responsibilities:
- The Maintenance Advisor - Planner will provide technical support for Machinery, Cranes and Lifting Equipment to ensure safety, operability, and reliability.
- Responsible for maintenance planning and execution, technical and hands-on practical advice on issue remediation, identification of deficiencies and/or potential operational issues, and identifying opportunities for improvement in the areas of equipment reliability and cost efficiency.
- Vendor Coordination
- Service Agreement (Contract) Management
- Maintains working relationship with Machinery, Cranes and Lifting Equipment suppliers and service providers
- Provide technical support for the planning and execution of the Machinery, Cranes and Lifting integrity programs including detailed work scope planning, execution support and troubleshooting, and issue response support
- Primary contact for major Machinery, Cranes and Lifting maintenance support, including:
- Assisting in the coordination of repairs, including providing in-field or shop oversight, as required
- Interfacing with platform personnel to support daily queries, spare parts requests, etc.
- Assisting in the development and execution of the onshore / offshore maintenance planning process
- Participating in the continuous improvement of Equipment Strategies and Preventative Maintenance plans
- Participating in outage / turnaround planning and work scope development
- Providing technical-level SAP support, covering items including:
- PM optimization (tasks, frequencies, materials, resources, etc.)
- Resolving technical queries associated with SAP data history
- Development and optimization of Bill of Materials
- Support the management of key integrity program activities including equipment criticality and strategy development, stewarding work plans and budgets, and the assessment and management of integrity issues
- Interact with Asset Team Operations, Engineering and other Maintenance technical staff to collaboratively address key planning and execution priorities related to Machinery, Cranes and Lifting equipment
- Provide recommendations and support related to troubleshooting, commissioning, and equipment startups, including identifying and engaging specialist resources as needed
- Assume leadership role in the implementation of maintenance planning and execution improvements, as well as the stewardship of reliability and integrity issues
- Maintain working relationships with Machinery, Cranes and Lifting equipment suppliers and service providers
- Provide technical and hands-on mentorship to less experienced technicians / engineers / students primarily concerning Machinery, Cranes and Lifting scope
- Actively participate in risk assessments and incident investigations (e.g. PHA, HAZOP, RCA)
- Maintain focus and ownership on OIMS and CIMS expectations for the assigned responsibilities
- Assist in development and implementation of Onshore/Offshore Planning process.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of equipment strategies.
- Bill of Materials development and optimization.
- Maintenance Program optimization (right work, right frequency).
- Identification of equipment reliability improvement by evaluation of : "bad actors", MTBF analysis, etc.
- SAP support and assist in its development.
- Participate in Turnaround planning and work scope development.
- Resolve technical queries associated with SAP data history.
- Assist in the coordination of repairs.
- Liaise closely with the Engineering Group on M&R related activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a closely related position
- Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs
- Ability to understand field changes and red-line drawings
- Ability to coordinate various mechanical resources according to schedule and plan
- Experience with SAP
- Good teamwork, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with multiple workgroups
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiar with MOC process and PSSR (pre-startup safety reviews) process
- Basic safety training and/or site-specific training
- Facilitate and participate in safety meetings
- Fluent in use of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
