The Senior Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining favorable relationships with new and existing clients to ensure that the organization is meeting their needs through its products and services. The Account Executive acts as the client advocate and works to resolve any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing client accounts, reviewing and maintaining relationships with all accounts, and potentially selling new business to existing accounts. May be responsible for sustaining and renewing client contracts.

The job requires frequent traveling to visit prospects and maintain contacts with customers.

Responsibilities
  • The role consists in developing and harvesting relationships with Investment Advisers for a specific region in Canada. The Account Executive is responsible for customer acquisition and maintain a good relationship with customers.
  • Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase revenue;
  • Ensures products and services consistently meet client needs;
  • Needs to develop In-depth knowledge of Inovestor's solution and have a good working knowledge of research and investing functions as it relates to a Registered Investment Advisory firm;
  • Communicate recent and upcoming product enhancements to the client base;
  • Schedule calls and plan client onsite visits to uncover client changes, pain points, up-sell opportunities and ensure full application utilization;
  • Communicate and provide feedback to the development team on client requests or enhancements;
  • Maintain/update CRM Database with all customer interaction i.e. phone calls, emails, cases, etc;
  • Work and communicate in a professional manner with Inovestor clients and team members.

Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Financial Planning or Accounting degree preferred). CSC, or CFP designations a plus;
  • 3-5 years of experience working in sales and/or finance role or investment exposure;
  • Entrepreneurial-minded and thrives in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment;
  • Trading experience and/or IIROC registered (Preferred but not required);
  • Strong customer service or client-centric focus;
  • Effective planning, time management and organizational skills;
  • Outstanding communication (both oral and written) and collaboration skills and able to work with a diverse internal group, and drive client needs forward;
  • Ability to express oneself perfectly and professionally (both orally and in writing) in English and French. We need a bilingual individual who can communicate effectively with our English-speaking customers across Canada.
  • Experience with CRM software;
  • Focus, Passion, Driven and Proactivity.
