Develops, influences and enables commercial planning across businesses, working across all Divisions to identify and execute planning or planning-related projects to strengthen sales processes and practices, with emphasis on accelerating our ability to execute Commercial Planning flawlessly. Detect and solve emerging issues by leading cross-functional teams through solution development and implementation. Influence decision-makers as needed to move on actionable items that will impact our ability to win with customers and consumers and driving accountability through end users. Guide organization through process improvements and changes to produce net positive effect.
Responsibilities:
o Oversee Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) for Commercial Excellence
o Influence and advise key cross-functional partners, set timelines, templates, roles, and responsibilities.
o Collaborate within Commercial Acceleration and Dynamic Planning leadership team to embed critical components of planning; category and aisle insights, shopper trends, merchandising excellence, advanced technology, Scale Events and Retail Marketing all executed through strategic selling and commercial excellence.
o Guide organization through ICP process, removing roadblocks as needed.
o Develop best in class training programs, embracing continuous improvement mindset
o Acknowledge tension points and collaborate internally to develop solutions
o Actively partner with strategy and leadership teams, identify areas of improvement, confirming updates with decision makers before implementation.
o Guide total organization through implementation of all updates.
o Lead Nestl key work processes for short, mid and longer-term Commercial Planning
o Account Review Principal
o Responsible for leading strategic integration of Account Reviews within the company.
o Collaborate and connect Account Reviews to the Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process as we know it today, and evolve it for the future state
o Influence key discussion points based on organizational KPIs
o Develop cross-functional template and after-action planning model to enhance and accelerate commercial and dynamic planning
o Cross-Functional Collaborator on Customer Segmentation
o Align with RGM and Divisions on annual customer segmentation modeling and output, embedding into ICP and Customer Engagement strategies
o Industry Planning Insights lead
o Research and evolve our commercial strategies based on what is happening in the industry. Understand who is winning with customers and consumers and why, and develop ways to accelerate integrating these strategies into our Ways of Working.
Requirements:
CPG and Sales Experience preferred
Cross-functional experience a plus (HQ Sales, Field Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance)
Strong verbal and oral communication & presentation skills
Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities, and pay strong attention to details
Strong analytical skills
Ability to connect the context of the marketplace, organization, and Nestl roles and responsibilities
Embrace change, lead by example, maintain a positive work environment and ongoing learning culture
Knowledge of interrelationship of key functions and their key initiatives (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, IT)
