Overview

The Director, Corporate Accounting is responsible for the accounting and reporting function of Concentra's corporate and support functions. The Director, Corporate Accounting oversees the month end financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for Corporate departments, continuously maintains all controls and fosters an environment of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Oversees the accounting for corporate and other support departments, lease accounting, IT
accounting, fixed assets, cash and payroll accounting.
Addresses all comments and feedback received from key stakeholders regarding departmental
expenses.
Oversees forecasting and budgeting for corporate and support departments.
Proactively monitors accounting for treasury and tax functions.
Monitors risk and insurance programs with legal and compliance and facilitates analysis of
insurance reserves and budget planning.
Prepares routine and ad hoc internal financial analysis/information for executive team.
Collaborates and coordinates with the Controller and Assistant Controller with the adoption and
implementation of new accounting standards.
Creates, documents and tests standard operating procedures and processes.
Actively works with lease administration to improve the AMT lease system.
Works with Human Resources on payroll accounting and understands the construction of the HR
Organization structure within Oracle.
Oversees proper accounting treatment of IT projects.
Evaluates the design, and ensures the execution, of internal controls over financial reporting and
collaborates with the Assistant Controller routinely in the review of the Company's accounting policies, proposing updates as needed.
Manages, trains, develops, and mentors Corporate Accounting team members.
Demonstrates ability to work with sensitive information, such as compensation, and maintain
confidentiality.
System implementation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Major: Accounting or Finance

Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
Education Details:

Certifications and/or Licenses:
CPA required
Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable: No
Continuing education is required to maintain license and to perform job: Yes

Job-Related Experience

Customarily has at least the following experience: 7 years
A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in financial reporting, accounting,
or related roles
Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and AMT/MRI Lease software strongly preferred
