Position: Claims Manager - Commercial
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive salary & benefits
Duration: Fulltime, Permanent
Overview:
7+ years in commercial claims, including 3 years with complex cases. Construction claims experience considered an asset.
CIP/CRM designation and RIBO license (or willingness to obtain).
Proficient in EPIC, MS Office; excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Available for emergencies outside hours; travel required with a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities:
Manage and process incoming claims, reviewing coverage and collaborating with clients and Account Managers to determine optimal actions.
File, follow up, and advocate for claims, coordinating with insurers, adjusters, and legal teams to ensure efficient resolution.
Maintain claims records in the EPIC system, prepare loss reports, and participate in policy reviews and client meetings.
Contribute to process improvements, attend industry training, and support the enhancement team to strengthen claims handling.
