Job Details: Do you want to work with the best team in Lambton County? The team consists of 2 DVMs, 2 Technicians, 2 receptionists and 4 Exam Room/Tech Assistants in this great, family owned hospital. If you want mentorship, then this is not to be missed!
The owner's wife is always stopping by with baked goods, and some of his daughters work at the hospital as well. They are very professional, no family drama in the hospital, everyone is treated equally like employees (no favouritism).
All equipment has recently been upgrafed including digital Xray, Digital dental xray (being installed shortly), ultrasound and therapeutic laser.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (no weekends, no nights, no on call)
They NEVER work over time. The owner truly cares about work life balance so you can see that they only work Monday - Friday.
Mentorship: One veterinarian will help to mentor in appointments and another will mentor in surgeries. They also have a Community membership which provides them with 4 wet labs per year (dental extractions, radiography, ultrasound, surgery etc.)

Main Responsibilities:
- Ability to work up medical cases
- Perform routine examinations and vaccinations
- Perform general surgery
- Help with blood draws and with other technical skills
- Proficient in anesthesia
- Offer nutrition and behavior advice
Required Skills and/or Knowledge:
- Ability to perform the duties of a Veterinarian including medical case work-up and surgery
- Excellent problem solver
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding work environment.
- Strong team player.
- Comfortable with high-tech work environment, and constant learning of new tools and innovative workflows.
- Good with computers and office management systems (Impromed)
- Demonstrates a high level of honesty and integrity in all aspects of job performance.

Package:
- Production bonus
- $30,000 signing bonus
