Job Title: Dental Hygienist

Job Specialty: Dental/Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery

Job Duration: 9 months

Shift: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 5x8 Hr

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: 1 year required

License: Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist issued by NYSED

Certifications: X-ray certification preferred

Must-Have:

- English (Speak, Read, Write)
- Spanish (Speak, Read, Write)

Job Description:

- Remove calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains
- Apply topical agents
- Provide patient education
- Place and expose X-ray films
- Polish teeth
- Take medical history and vital signs
- Chart caries and periodontal conditions
- Apply pit and fissure sealants and desensitizing agents to the teeth
