South Peninsula Hospital is a 22 bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a 28 bed Long Term Care Facility located on the southern end of the Kenai Peninsula.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Occupational Therapist assumes professional responsibility for providing evaluation and treatment of clients requiring services as defined by the state of Alaska's Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
- To maintain clinical expertise while practicing in a small department in a rural community.
- Participate in continued growth of Occupational Therapy program development.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- A postgraduate degree in occupational therapy from a university accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Alaska license in occupational therapy.
- Current BLS certification.
- A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in occupational therapy preferred.
- Physical demands are moderate and may require heavy lifting, periods of prolonged standing, and the ability to assist patients as needed.
