Our North American Industrial Process & Environmental group is searching for an experienced Project Manager to support our location in Pasadena, TX. The successful applicant will be responsible for projects involving CEMS, ambient and process monitoring systems, analyzers and related equipment. Key Responsibilities:
Manages the completion of major projects involving scientific instruments, from inception through customer acceptance, including profit and loss (P/L), scheduling, scope of work and functional specification development.
Prepare project engineering designs, creating & processing equipment bill of materials. Provides timely and accurate information to Sales and Marketing to ensure the development of profitable, successful quotations.
Coordinate & maintain project scheduling with customers and internal personnel, customer factory acceptance testing (FAT) and coordinating, scheduling and deploying field service technicians to conduct on-site start-up & training at the customer's facility.
Desired Qualifications:
Requires a thorough working knowledge of project engineering, project management and budgeting methodologies as typically acquired through a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Industry related work experience a plus.
Requires sound problem-solving and analytical skills, effective interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills and proficient computer skills.
Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects from inception to customer acceptance, including scheduling, material specification, costing, customer interface and support.
Flexibility to work beyond a normal workday or workweek to meet project deadlines, if needed.
Travel may be required, as needed.
