Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to oversee complex, data integration-intensive IT projects, manage IT vendors, and drive end-to-end application deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data integration, cloud-based solutions, and enterprise IT systems, coupled with exceptional program management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Project Management:
  • Lead and manage large-scale IT programs focused on data integration, system migrations, and enterprise application rollouts.
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and risk mitigation plans to ensure successful execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including data engineers, application developers, business analysts, and external vendors.
  • Define program KPIs and report on progress, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders.

Data Integration & IT Deployments:
  • Oversee the integration of multiple data sources across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are followed throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Work with engineering teams to define architecture, data pipelines, and API strategies for seamless system interoperability.
  • Facilitate the deployment of enterprise applications, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal operational disruptions.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
  • Manage third-party IT vendors, ensuring contract deliverables, SLAs, and performance metrics are met.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and external partners to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and performance evaluations to optimize technology partnerships.


Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in IT program management, with a strong focus on data integration projects and enterprise IT deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), APIs, and middleware solutions.
  • Strong technical acumen with an understanding of SQL, data warehousing, and system architectures.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, vendor negotiation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, or AWS/Azure cloud certifications.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Asana, or similar).
  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance) with compliance requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2).
  • Knowledge of AI/ML-driven data integration techniques is a plus.


Physical Requirements:
  • A normal office environment requires frequent use of a telephone, computer, and photocopiers.
  • Walking, standing, bending, and lifting required.
  • Significant periods of time spent at a computer requiring hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity.
  • Frequent requests for assistance, both in-person and via the telephone, which may interrupt scheduled workflow.
