Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Job Specialty: Advanced Thoracic Oncology
Job Duration: 12 weeks
Shift: 8-hour shifts, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (no on-call requirements)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required
License: Professional license required in both Georgia and South Carolina
Certifications: BLS required
Must-Have: Must be willing to travel between two sites
Job Description:
- Perform various pulmonary and diagnostic procedures.
- Evaluate preliminary data and recommend or perform testing as per department policy.
- Collaborate effectively within the Advanced Thoracic Oncology Center.
- Ensure high-quality care setting in acute respiratory therapy.
- Participate in mandatory orientations every Monday, with orientation hours set at 16.
- Must be familiar with Meditech charting system.
- Associate's degree in Cardiopulmonary Technology, Respiratory Care, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Must meet a 100-mile radius rule for consideration.
- Be ready to start assignments as soon as possible, with file preparations due one week prior.
