Contract Position
Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Predictive Maintenance (PdM) strategies for combat vehicles within the Digital Systems Software Engineering (DSSE) team.
- Integrate and manage condition monitoring systems to track equipment health and analyze sensor data for early failure detection.
- Apply predictive modeling and machine learning techniques to forecast maintenance needs and optimize vehicle performance.
- Provide technical support for PdM software systems, equipment installation, and system configuration.
- Analyze and process data from multiple sources (sensors, databases, maintenance logs) to enhance predictive capabilities.
- Document and maintain PdM processes, including equipment health reports, predictive analytics findings, and maintenance logs.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices for PdM advancements.
- Support system integration and testing at the subsystem and vehicle level.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field) from an accredited university.
- Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Maintenance Engineering or Reliability Engineering.
- Proficiency in predictive modeling and data analysis tools (Python, R, MATLAB, machine learning techniques).
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software technologies related to PdM systems.
- Familiarity with condition monitoring systems (vibration analysis, thermography, sensor integration).
- Experience with maintenance management software (CMMS, EMS, or PdM-specific software).
- Understanding of networking principles and their application to connected maintenance systems.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for predictive maintenance processes.
- Industry & Certifications (Preferred):
- Defense industry knowledge and familiarity with regulations/standards affecting maintenance and reliability.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) (Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals - SMRP).
- Machine learning or data science certification (Certified Analytics Professional - CAP or similar).
