About the Role:

The Senior Embryologist plays a critical role in the reproductive health sector, focusing on the development and management of embryos in assisted reproductive technologies. This position requires a deep understanding of embryology, as well as the ability to perform complex laboratory procedures with precision and care. The Senior Embryologist will oversee the entire embryology lab operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Additionally, this role involves mentoring junior staff and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Ultimately, the Senior Embryologist contributes to the success of fertility treatments, helping individuals and couples achieve their dreams of parenthood.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in biology, master preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an embryology laboratory setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with advanced reproductive technologies such as preimplantation genetic testing (PGT).
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced laboratory procedures including oocyte retrieval, fertilization, and embryo culture.
  • Monitor and assess embryo development, making critical decisions regarding embryo selection for transfer or cryopreservation.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in the laboratory environment.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior embryologists and laboratory staff.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
