JOB DESCRIPTION:
6- 8 years of experience
. Troubleshoot network problems and outages; perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations. Aid in setting up LAN/WAN infrastructure for multiple branch offices in different geographical areas when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Administration:
Configure, deploy, and manage Cisco Meraki routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices using the Meraki cloud dashboard. This includes tasks like setting up VLANs, configuring routing protocols, managing IP addresses, and ensuring network security. Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures, including firewall rules, access control lists, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, to protect the network from unauthorized access and threats.
Network Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement, such as bandwidth utilization, latency, and device availability, to ensure optimal network health and efficiency.
Cloud Integration:
Manage Meraki devices within a cloud environment, ensuring seamless integration with other cloud services and platforms, such as Azure or AWS.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting logs, and generate reports on network performance and security.
Collaboration and Support:
Work with other IT team members and stakeholders to implement network changes, resolve issues, and ensure the smooth operation of the network.
Skills and Qualifications:
Cisco Meraki Expertise:
Strong understanding of Cisco Meraki products, including routers, switches, firewalls, and the Meraki cloud management platform.
Networking Fundamentals:
Solid knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, network security, and network protocols.
Cloud Technologies:
Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure or AWS, and the ability to integrate Meraki devices with cloud environments.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues effectively, utilizing troubleshooting tools and techniques.
Security Awareness:
Understanding of network security best practices, including firewall management, intrusion detection, and security protocols.
Technical Documentation:
