Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Regional Sales Manager in our Fredericksburg, VA office.
Operational & Key Functions:
- Oversee field sales responsibilities and effectiveness to your assigned geographic region and sales team
- Developing sales strategies for area of responsibility
- Monitoring teams performance and motivating, guiding, and leading them to exceed sales goals
- Serve as an escalation path to regional accounts for sales team
- Providing sales reports for area of responsibility, including monthly meetings with senior management
- Track and influence projects from design and development phase to securing purchase orders
- Working closely with project and sales administration teams
- Trade show and professional industry event participation
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams,
- Coaching and training new team members of electrical and mechanical concepts.
- Provide technical and strategic guidance for bid activity and customer account management
Management Functions:
- Conduct annual performance reviews
- Run monthly sales meetings
- Set frequency touch base meetings with direct reports
- Monitor potential issues with internal and external partners
- Work closely with senior management to deliver on goals and objectives
Qualifications
- Mechanical or electrical engineering degree preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Salesforce
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Occasional driving may be required
