Description
IBSS client is seeking a BigFix Engineer in support of our client located in Washington, D.C. The work on-site 5 days per week. The selected candidate must have and maintain an active Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex issues related to BigFix infrastructure, agent deployment, and endpoint compliance.
- Administer, configure, and maintain BigFix to support enterprise endpoint management, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Develop, test, and deploy patches and security updates across endpoints while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Create and optimize Fixlets, tasks, baselines, and automation scripts to enhance endpoint security, software deployment, and system configurations.
- Monitor, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations using BigFix capabilities to enforce security policies.
- Generate detailed reports on patch compliance, software deployments, and security posture while implementing automation to streamline administrative tasks.
Required Skills /Education/ Certifications & Qualifications:
- Must have a foundational IT certification, e.g., CompTIA A+, CompTIA, Network+
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent work experience in-lieu of education will be considered
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of related experience distributing application and software packages using a remote deployment tool, specifically BigFix.
- Must have five (5) years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows workstations and servers
Desired Skills /Education/ Certifications & Qualifications:
- MCSE certification (Current or Legacy) or similar MS certification
