Application Support Engineer

Compensation based on experience and skills ranging from $75,000-$110,000 per year

Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for an Application Support Engineer at our location in Fredericksburg, VA.

Technical Knowledge
  • Review and interpret project design documents and scope of work, enhance product knowledge of MTU and power equipment as necessary to fully understand total power solution provided.
  • Initiate, coordinate, procure and assemble technical submittal documents for channel review and approval.
  • Develop, modify, or procure technical drawings for onsite coordination of interconnects or conduit layouts.
  • Learn and understand advanced concepts of building electrical distribution systems and how to apply power generation equipment and related technical scope of work.
  • Provide technical support to Sales / Project Management Team.
  • Develop, modify, or procure one-line diagrams for project designs.

Communication / Customer Interface
  • Be the communication hub for internal/external partners to guide project to a successful turnover to the end-user from inception to close-out.
  • Project schedule alignment to meet customer and project expectations.
  • Salesforce lead to coordinate quality up to date opportunity data.
  • Weekly coordination with sales/project management team for application support and submittal duties.
  • Understand and respond to customer's sense of urgency evidenced by consistent and timely communication.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when dealing with customers (internal & external).
  • Additional Responsibilities may be assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the power industry and 3-phase power.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively.
  • High level of productivity output.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize demands.
  • Respond effectively to changes in workload, schedules, and environment
  • Engineering Degree preferred; Electrical or Mechanical related.
