OVERVIEW / DESCRIPTION

Lead Budget and ALM team, overseeing strategic planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and Asset Liability Management (ALM). Develop programs, policies, and procedures, and manage staff to ensure alignment with business goals.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Strategic and Capital Planning:
    • Develop strategic and capital plans across multiple banks.
    • Direct budget creation and reporting processes.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze operating results and financial forecasts.
    • Develop measurement techniques and reports to assess performance.
  • Asset Liability Management (ALM):
    • Manage ALCO meeting materials and planning.
    • Coordinate interest rate metrics modeling.
    • Oversee investment and funding reporting.
  • Balance Sheet Management:
    • Model liquidity, funding, investment, loan, and deposit strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with sub-debt covenants and credit lines.
    • Generate capital levels and stress testing models.
  • Treasury Function:
    • Provide backup for CFO and Controllers.
    • Support Controllers with wires, investments, and funding.
  • Staff Management:
    • Manage Finance and ALM processes and staff.
    • Foster relationships between Corporate Finance and business units.

  • POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CFA preferred.
    • 10-15 years of banking experience.
    • Experience in budgeting, ALM, and balance sheet management.
    • Profitstars profitability and ALM preferred.
    • Strong strategic, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Familiarity with financial institution products and policies.
    • Proficiency with data warehouse systems and accounting software.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage staff effectively.
