key Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize scalable data pipelines using GCP (Dataproc, Big Query, GCS).
- Automate workflows with Apache Airflow and manage data processing using Spark, Hive, and Kafka.
- Develop and maintain data models for data lakes and warehouses.
- Lead daily standups, design reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
- Ensure system reliability through ongoing maintenance and on-call support.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in GCP.
- Strong expertise in Python, Java, Scala, and scripting languages (Shell, Perl).
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and workflow orchestration tools.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and CI/CD tools.
- Agile/Scrum experience and strong communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
