Metrea Strategic Mobility (MSM) operates a fleet of KC-135 aircraft, offering an air-to-air refueling service that seamlessly, safely, and professionally integrates into military aviation training and operations.
Position Summary
The Q&CM is the key role responsible for upfront definition of, regular monitoring of and continuously reporting of the level of compliance from a regulatory, contractual, and operational perspective. This role is reporting directly to the Head of MSM for assurance that the CU operates within its approvals/letters of agreement and is compliant with regulations and Metrea's own processes.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.

Travel may be required: up to 10%

Position Summary
The Q&CM is the key role responsible for upfront definition of, regular monitoring of and continuously reporting of the level of compliance from a regulatory, contractual, and operational perspective. This role is reporting directly to the Head of MSM for assurance that the CU operates within its approvals/letters of agreement and is compliant with regulations and Metrea's own processes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensures that the CU adheres to all applicable regulations and standards including any changes in regulations.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance-related activities including the documentation of audits, inspections, and any corrective actions taken.
- Conducts regular internal audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Coordinates with external auditors and regulatory bodies during official inspections.
- Develops and implements training programs to ensure that all staff are aware of and understand compliance requirements; this includes initial training for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff.
- Identifies potential quality and compliance risks and develops strategies to mitigate them; this involves conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management practices.
- Creates and updates policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Metrea processes; this includes working with other departments to integrate quality and compliance requirements into their operations.
- Continuously monitors and improves the quality and compliance program to ensure it remains effective and up-to-date with regulatory changes.
Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Experience:
- In-depth understanding of applicable regulatory and contractual requirements and translating those into actionable compliance programs (Ref Early Quality Involvement or APQP)
- In-depth understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements and certifications
Skills:
- Ability to conduct thorough audits and inspections, including constructing effective checklists and detecting non-compliances
- Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within the organization through the SMS
- Proficiency in identifying findings, providing feedback, and ensuring clear communication across the CU
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation related to compliance monitoring and using that data to proactively monitor the environment for risks and opportunities

- Must be able to manage a heavy workload and prioritize.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on collaboration.

Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License.
