Job Title: Ophthalmology OR Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Ophthalmology

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty

License: Registered Nurse

Certifications: Required - Basic Life Support (BLS); Preferred - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Must-Have: Experience in an ophthalmology operating room setting

Job Description:

- Provide specialized nursing care in the ophthalmology operating room.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high standards of care.
- Prepare patients and operating room for ophthalmic surgeries.
- Assist in surgical procedures and handle surgical instruments.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and manage any changes in their condition.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide postoperative care and education to patients.
