Working on large-scale civil and infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion - you will participate in all phases of a project's life cycle from the estimation stage to the delivery.As a Temporary Works Coordinator, you will provide technical support to Design and Construction Team, especially in the areas of temporary works design, quantity calculations and monitoring and shop drawings review.

What You Will Do

  • Temporary works coordination in close collaboration with the Construction Team.
  • Prepare drawings/layouts for construction team and temporary works (using AutoCAD).
  • Manage Temporary Works Designers (contract, schedule and cost control).
  • Work with the project Design Team to prepare quantity take-offs, manage and track changes in quantities.
  • Manage concrete technical requirements.
  • Review shop drawings and coordinate submission to Designers/Client.
  • Coordinate and review Work Method Statements in conjunction with Design & Construction Team.
  • Reports to Design Lead and will assist in other technical tasks as required.


This role could be for you if you have

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in civil infrastructure projects, designing and constructing temporary structures.
  • A professional Engineer license or eligibility to obtain one within Canada.
  • Strong experience working in Advance Design or other finite element software. . Experience in Aconex, Procore or similar project EDMS is preferred
  • An expert level of knowledge and hands on experience working with AutoCAD.
  • High familiarity of Revit and/or Civil 3D.

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $90,000 - $120,000. Please note that salaries may vary depending on the candidate's experience and geographical location
