Job Summary:
ITS, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our contract in Colorado Springs, CO. The system engineer will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications.
- Provides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
- Perform operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Developing and/or sustaining national security, no-fail mission systems
- Managing large-scale Agile or SecDevOps teams/projects, to include support to cost estimating, baseline and risk management, schedule development, performance monitoring and reporting.
- Experience leading waterfall-to-agile transformations, designed to deliver Minimum Viable Products in a consistent cadence.
- Experience with a broad range of system types: custom developed HW/SW, COTS/GOTS HW/SW, and specialty engineering of exotic material/limited supply items.
- Experience with configuration and data management, hardware and software test & evaluation of classified systems.
- Experience with implementing and sustaining distributed systems, virtual operating system environments, and virtual/augmented reality technologies.
- Experience translating operational requirements into system requirements; and system requirements into technical requirements/performance standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in systems engineering, Model-based Systems Engineering and related areas, to include managing teams/projects delivering solutions for missile warning or other national security space mission systems.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years' related experience.
Clearance Requirement:
- Active Secret security clearance
