Position Summary:
Designs, implements, and evaluates non-clinical training programs that enhance skills and professional development. Collaborates with leaders to identify training needs, develop educational programs, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and best practices. Oversees the Learning Management System (LMS), administers the performance evaluation system, and manages the succession planning program. Responsible for creating and analyzing reports related to training, performance evaluations, and succession planning.

Job Requirement

Education/Experience:
Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, or a related field and three (3) years of current experience in learning and development, instructional design, and/or training facilitation.

None.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Physical Requirements

Knowledge of:
Employee development, training principles and practices, instructional design, adult education principles and practices, training delivery methods, and theories and measurement assessment methodologies; healthcare practices; federal, state and local law; regulations and standards of care; emerging technologies and processes; department and hospital safety practice and procedures; basic data sampling and statistical analysis techniques; computer applications related to duties; project management and analytical techniques; principles and techniques of preparation of effective written informational and educational materials; department and hospital safety practice and procedures; patient rights; age-specific patient care practices; infection control policies and practices; handling, storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials; department and hospital emergency response policies and procedures.

Skill in:
Assisting and conducting educational programs utilizing a variety of training tools; preparing and presenting a variety of oral and written reports; establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with a variety of training providers; managing and administering an LMS; facilitation; developing and managing a succession planning program; strong listening; effective writing and presentation; using computers and related software applications; communicating with a wide variety of people from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all personnel contacted in the course of duties; efficient, effective and safe use of equipment; building relationships with key stakeholders and fostering a culture of continuous learning; and collecting, analyzing, and reporting data.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment, stamina to remain standing for long periods of time, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. Strength and agility to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
