Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Home Health
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:30 - 18:30); Day 4x10-Hour (10:30 - 20:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Hours are guaranteed after the call-off policy has been met
Experience: 1 year of pediatric acute care experience and med-surg experience
License: CA RN license required or pending with an ETA of when it will be posted
Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
Must-Have:
- Valid Driver's License with proof of auto insurance
- Keyboard and computer navigation proficiency
- Microsoft Office and electronic EMR expertise
- Knowledge of VAD care, home care procedures/equipment
Job Description:
- Can submit without CA license in hand and obtain upon offer
- Experienced pediatric acute care nurses, pediatric hospice, and palliative care RNs will be accepted
- Locals accepted with flexible scheduling for weekends and holidays
- Pending state license accepted if we have an ETA from licensing of when it will post
- On-call required once per week to respond to urgent questions and needs with possible visit
- Nurses can average anywhere between 60-100 miles per day and receive mileage reimbursement
- Nurses pick up their assignments daily from the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Services all of San Diego County and parts of Southern Riverside County
- Must work two out of three major holidays
- Candidates will float within the hospital, and for NICU, they float to satellite locations
- The orientation includes 12 non-billable hours
