Our Account Team is growing and looking for enthusiastic, self-starters to join our group. Join us in working with clients as strategic partners to drive our business. We look for excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a strategic, yet detail-oriented mindset. You'll work with clients from onboarding throughout program execution as you help to further develop clients' efforts, leveraging various different shopper marketing tools, including AMG proprietary platforms.

Reports to: Accounts Director/VP, Accounts
Highlighted Responsibilities:
Main Client Contact and Partner
- Develop, maintain and extend client relationships by acting as the day-to-day contact for mid and senior level clients
- Develop a deep understanding of each client's business as the primary liaison. Provide effective direction and recommendations to ensure progress in achieving the client's business objectives
- Prepare presentations, status and activity reports, and lead regular client check-in calls / meetings
- Develop strong relationships with clients across various disciplines and business areas across the organization including Trade / Customer Marketing, Field / Sales Teams, National Accounts Teams, Brand Teams, PR Teams and other agency partners
- Partner with our Analytics & Insights team to establish target goals and objectives for client shopper marketing initiatives, high level yearly planning as well as project planning and program financial responsibility
- Serve as a trusted resource for clients in providing perspective on all matters related to the account.
Be Strategic, Grow The Business
- Lead by example, using sound judgement, proven business acumen and thoughtful, strategic thinking both internally and externally
- Drive strategies to grow AMG revenue, bring business solutions to clients by offering unique shopper marketing programs
- Lead in or oversee Statement of Work development for larger scale opportunities, including budget development and approval
- Prepare program briefs, positioning our internal teams for success in all aspects of delivery
- Oversee timely and successfully execution shopper marketing campaigns with a focus on conversion and ROI optimization
- Collaborate with AMG's Analytics & Insights team to provide key insights and analyze program performance and to provide external and internal reporting. Leverage your deep understanding of the client business to leverage the data to tell an impactful story
- Collaborate with AMG's Project Management Office team to deliver project briefs and ensure executional excellence
- Research competitive products and industry trends to develop recommendations / thought starters for your clients
- Collaborate with your peers across the Account Team as you demonstrate our superior account service standards, and bringing new solutions / opportunities to the team together
- Leverage your client relationships to identify needs and bring forth new areas of opportunity for our business
Mentoring And Managing
- Manage and mentor Assistance Account Executive / Account Executive employees, providing guidance and support and ensuring that all work produced meets the standards of the agency and team
- Develop growth plans and identify training opportunities for support staff
- Provide ongoing assessments to direct reports - monthly, 90-day and annual review

Qualifications:
- 5 - 8 years of sales promotion, advertising, marketing, or related work experience required. Shopper marketing experience is ideal
- Alcohol Beverage marketing/sales experience is a bonus
- Team management and mentoring experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is a must
