Job Summary

Are you ready to take the next big step in your automotive industry career? Our high-volume automotive center is seeking a full-time Automotive General Manager to oversee and motivate our talented team of professionals.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a track record of successful management positions with at least five years of experience, and a strong desire to succeed with integrity.

You will oversee daily operations and assist sales and service advisers in setting big but realistic goals. Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations, providing a positive and engaging environment that builds trust through integrity, honest and transparency
  • Ensure customers are provided a detailed digital health check of their vehicle on every visit
  • Remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met
  • Recruit, hire, and train automotive technicians
  • Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and peers to share knowledge and grow the business
  • Maintain accurate inventory and asset management

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required; a high school diploma or GED equivalent needed
  • Five or more years of experience in a general manager position for a full-service automotive repair shop is necessary
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends
  • Possess a state-issued driver's license and acceptable driving record to operate customer and company-owned vehicles
  • Strong communication skills; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
