Unit Description

Yellowstone General Stores are located throughout Yellowstone National Park including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. The locations offer the opportunity to explore more than 1000 miles of hiking trails, 40 waterfalls, and 10,000 hydro-thermal features like hot springs and geysers. We offer dorm-style employee housing or full-hookup RV sites. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities in Yellowstone National Park for our team members.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee team members, ensuring proper staffing, training, compliance with operational standards, guest service, and productivity scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with retail, grocery, and food and beverage operations policies, coaching, counseling, and managing performance as needed
  • Build and maintain positive guest and client relationships by ensuring high-quality service and products, responding to client requests, and resolving complaints
  • Maintain existing programs and developing new concepts to enhance store operations and ensure quality standards
  • Control store operations and labor costs, and assist in establishing long-term plans and policies
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding alcohol, sanitation, payroll, employment, and EEO
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed on property.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in high-volume, multiple retail and food and beverage operations, with the ability to train, develop, and manage seasonal staff
  • Strong skills in financial management, budgeting, and achieving profitability goals
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and manage a diverse workforce
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and lead teams independently or as part of a group
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a focus on team development and operational efficiency
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
