Job Description:
- Required to work every other weekend.
- Weekend requirements include a commitment to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
- Must be capable of floating between all facilities within a given state. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
- Participate in the development of the treatment plan.
- Ability to organize and participate in family meetings.
- Experience with HMOs, IPAs, and similar organizations is necessary.
- Must be competent in arranging DME, SNF, and ambulance transport independently.
- Participate in protective services processes.
- Familiarity with admission criteria using InterQual.
- Knowledge of drug/alcohol abuse treatment options.
- Experience working with patients experiencing homelessness.
- Work with patients with mental health history or in crisis.
- Familiarity with advance directives and POLST forms.
- Knowledge of adoption and foster care processes.
- Orientation includes 40 hours, non-billable.
- Modules are non-billable, averaging 16 hours spent. Completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts.
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines are not specified as required or unknown.
